Hi Stuart, Just a quick email to thank you for our recent stay. This was our first ever family camping trip and we enjoyed every minute of our 2 days and will be back for a few weekends in 2011. Many thanks Gareth Lyons

Hi Stu thank you for all your help last week we both really enjoyed our stay so appreciated all the help you gave us see you next year. Ron & Irina

Hi Stuart How crap it is to be home. Been washing, cleaning, emailing, got my other boys back tomorrow (whoooopeeee) and its all just crap. Anyway wanted to say a big THANK YOU for all your advice on the whole camping thing. Took me a couple of days to adjust but I could get into it in a big way and it can be a cheap way of having a good holiday. We'll be back next year for sure to torture you. Take Care Sarah (Black Cloud) x

Hello Stuart Remember the two bikers from Norway? Well we made it home all right. Tommy had a flat the last day (and missed the boat home), but got back via eurotunnel and over to norway from denmark. We would again like to thank you for your service and kindness to us while we stayed at Blaen Cefn The term (or rather say, the motto:) "That, will NOT be a problem!" has become the key to our memories from our stay in Penrhyndeudraeth. You made two friends in us. Tommy sends his regards. Keep in touch. Best regards, Stein Svenson

Simon Knowles posted toBlaen Cefn Leisure Park 3 June 2012 Yet again another superb weeks holiday at Blaen Cefn Leisure Park. so much so we are going back in July for another weeks holiday. Such a peaceful place, friendly site warden/manager Mr Stuart Buckingham, can't fault his help and personality, what a guy. The sound of the steam railway, the beautiful views, amazing. And the new showers and washing room improvements, WOW! excellent. Can't wait to go back. Simon Knowles

(Young couple, 1 review, 0 photos) • Stayed Apr 2012 Review submitted 04 Mar 2013 • Stayed in: Tent pitches • Would recommend to friends • Would visit again Liked: I travel to North Wales at least once a year to visit relatives and this campsite is so convinient with its location! The facilities are good and easy to find even in the dark. The staff are more than friendly! Last year we spent a fair bit of time sitting at the lake, the other half was fishing whilst i was reading (in the sun!!). so quiet and secluded considering its right next to a main road! We took a tent last year and are returning this year in a campervan instead due to upgrading ;) I think as long as this campsite is still open I will always use Blaen Cefn when visiting the beautiful Porthmadog/Minffordd/Penrhyndeudraeth. Will update again in May as to what the campsite was like this year!

@UglyKidGom 20 Apr Big shout out to @stubuck2458 & Blaen Cefn Leisure Park for the pod on the 1st night of our cycle 4 @HealingTWounds pic.twitter.com/VTsm1fMBsB Fantastic yet again!! ashlee1101 (Young couple, 1 review, 0 photos) • Stayed Apr 2013 Review submitted 09 May 2013 • Stayed in: Motorhomes • Would recommend to friends • Would visit again Liked: Hi All, Well as promised I have come back to give Blaen Cefn another review. We stayed there 26th-29th April 2013 and really enjoyed our stay yet again! This time we were in the campervan instead of tent so we managed to stay a bit dryer than last time! The actual campsite has had a few renevations like the EcoPods (which look really nice!) and some of the scenery/decoration has been improved with plants and local slate from the quarrys! We are thinking of rescheduling our yearly visit to another time in the year to try and get some better weather and to do some decent fishing in their lake. So thinking about going back in July. As long as I visit North Wales I think we will always without a doubt stay at Blaen Cefn. The campsite and facilities are brilliant and the only way is up for them!

Ashlee Caroline Keane Was Butler just left today had a fab time here lovely and quiet and so clean we all felt very relaxed and very welcome by everyone even my old collie was chilled the whole time she was here would definitely recommend to friends wanting to visit the area LOVE the Eco pods and posh cabin :) looking forward to my eggs that I brought back home with me tomorrow ... Big thanks Sue Shrimpton

What a great Campsite, site is very clean and tidy, Stuart the site Manager/Warden is very friendly and helpful. Washers/dryers good value for money (don't rip you off) £1 for nearly 2 hours of washing and drying. All in all a fantastic clean friendly relaxing site. We only had one complaint. That was someone pressed the fast forward button on our week at Blaen Cefn. We will definitely be going back!!!

Dear Stuart Would just like to say a massive thank you again for another wonderful stay at Blaen Cefn (: Sorry we had to dash off, we came by reception however couldn’t see you in there or wondering around so got on the road. We definitely be coming back however when I am not sure just yet but will definitely be with the little one in tow! Thanks, Ashleigh

Zosia Alchimowicz rated Blaen Cefn Caravan Site, Penrhyndeudraeth. Five Star Had a fabulous time here with the Kids, Stuart the Warden/Manager is really helpful and friendly. Tent pitches have been levelled. Picnic tables dotted around the place. Clean facilities. Nearest village is not too touristy so easy to park next to local shops and pick up what you need. Great base for visiting Portmeirion, Tan-y-blwch etc

Eleri Roberts 10/08/13 A big thankyou to my little sis for saving the day, which allowed us to experience another fantastic weekend at Blaen Cefn, there's no where quite like it. Thanks Stuart xx

Dear Stuart, 01/09/2013 Thank you for making our family holiday so enjoyable. Regards. Hotchkiss Family

Angharad Nutt to Stuart Buckingham 26/27 October 2013 Ive Just arrived back from an amazing weekend in Blaen Cefn, I stayed in the Eco pod, and I can say " I had one of the best weekends ever. " I was staying on my own and I felt really safe there, The Pod had,Everything you could need, Plus a really comfy bed ( I slept like a baby) I would recommend it to anyone, Rest assured , I'll be visiting again. Thanks for a brilliant weekend

MMC1973 Came on site in June as a seasonal tourer was greeted by Stuart, we were able to come and view the site previously. The site is well kept with very good space between tourers. We chose a pitch and hooked up. Toilets we found very clean and available, can't comment on showers because we always used our own in the caravan, but laundry room was lovely and airy and I really liked the information area with brochures on places to visit. The fishing lake was a lovely bonus although we aren't fishers we often spoke to people fishing there. Stuart is a great asset to this site as we often saw him helping people any time of the day. There's a village just up the road which has a couple of pubs, takeaways and spar so everything was close by, Porthmadog was a few mile away with the lovely harbour where crabbing is a great activity, but the best was black rock sands beach where you can drive on with the car, this we found handy with our jetski. All in all a lovely site, we would stay again and recommend to friends
